About MAS3 Scientific
MAS3 exists for projects that matter to you but do not fit neatly inside one familiar playbook.
Why the firm exists
A business question can require market research, financial judgment, technical understanding, operational realism, project management, and the willingness to keep going when the evidence becomes inconvenient.
Large firms can make that work expensive and distant. Internal teams may already be overloaded. MAS3 offers a different model: a focused engagement with one accountable lead, enough range to connect the pieces, and the discipline to show exactly how the conclusion was reached.
Operating principles
The work is scoped around a decision, implementation, or finished artifact—not hours of activity.
Sources, assumptions, confidence, gaps, and recommendations are kept distinct enough to challenge.
Executive questions are connected to operating constraints, technical realities, and the people doing the work.
Models, source trails, plans, decision logs, and operating artifacts remain useful after the engagement ends.
A weak assumption is not upgraded into a fact because it makes the recommendation easier to sell.
Sensitive work stays discreet, public examples are labeled honestly, and unaffiliated companies are never implied to be clients.
Experience behind MAS3
The experience behind MAS3 spans chemical engineering, chemistry, coatings R&D, product management, manufacturing support, process improvement, financial modeling, market-entry strategy, and cross-functional technical leadership.
The practice is informed by an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, an MS in Chemical Engineering, a BS in Chemistry, more than a decade of industry experience, and two issued coating-technology patents.
